What is Color Me Mine?

Color Me Mine is a paint-your-own pottery studio where creativity comes to life! We offer a wide variety of unpainted ceramic pieces, like mugs, plates, figurines, and more, ready for guests to customize with their own artistic flair.

How does it work?

The process is simple and fun for all ages. You’ll choose a ceramic piece from our huge selection, pick your paints, and let your imagination take over. Our team will be on hand to guide you with tips, techniques, and encouragement every step of the way.

When will you open?

We’re aiming to open our doors in June, just in time for summer fun! Stay tuned to our website and social media for the official opening date.

Do I need to be artistic to enjoy it?

Not at all! No experience or skills are needed to have a great time. We’re here to make painting pottery fun and stress free for everyone, from first time painters to seasoned creatives.

Can I bring friends or family?

Absolutely! Color Me Mine is made for memory making. Whether you’re planning a family outing, date night, girls’ day, or group event, it’s a perfect place to relax and get creative together.

How long does it take to paint?

Most guests spend about 1 to 2 hours painting, depending on the size and detail of the piece they choose. But there’s no pressure, take your time and enjoy the process at your own pace.

What happens after I paint?

After you finish, we’ll glaze and fire your piece in our kiln (at over 1800°F!). This process turns your design into a vibrant, food-safe ceramic that will be ready for pick-up in about 7 days.

Will I need a reservation?

Nope! We are a walk-in-only studio. No reservations needed or taken for everyday painting. If we’re full when you arrive, we’ll add your name to our waitlist and notify you when your table is ready.

Planning a birthday party or group event? We’ll offer bookable party time slots for those!

How much does it cost?

We charge a $10 studio fee per painter, which covers all painting supplies, glazing, and firing. This is in addition to the price of the ceramic piece you choose. Most items range from $15 to $55.

Will you offer any discounts?

Yes! We’ll have fun weekly promos and themed nights. Our monthly calendar will highlight all upcoming specials, so keep an eye out!

Can I bring alcohol?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring any type of alcohol with you. Our staff can’t pour or serve it, but you’re free to sip while you paint. We just ask that everyone drinks responsibly and keeps the experience enjoyable for all.

How long will my piece be held?

We’ll hold finished pottery for 30 days from the date of your visit. Need it shipped instead? No problem, we can offer shipping options during that time. Any unclaimed pieces will be donated after 30 days.

Can I paint at home?

Yes! We’ll offer Pottery To Go kits. For $12 (plus the cost of your ceramic piece), you’ll get everything you need to paint at home, including brushes and paints. Just bring it back for glazing and firing!

Are your paints non-toxic?

Yes! All our paints are water-based and non-toxic. Once fired, your piece will be food-safe and microwave-safe. We recommend hand-washing to keep it looking great for years to come.

Do you have options for babies and toddlers?

We do! We love helping families create handprint and footprint keepsakes. Toddlers are welcome to paint with supervision, and we’ll offer a discount every Tuesday for kids under 5. A sweet way to start their artistic journey!

Can I host a special event?

Absolutely! From birthdays and bridal showers to team-building and group events, our studio is perfect for celebrating. We’ll have private party packages available to reserve in advance.

Is there an age limit?

Nope! If you can hold a brush, you’re invited. All ages are welcome to explore, create, and enjoy the magic of painting pottery.
